Entry Requirements

JCA welcomes applications from all educational profiles. We make an offer based on declared qualifications, and also factor in your personal statement and interview — so applicants who may not achieve the results below are still encouraged to apply.

Applicants should have Level 3 qualifications, normally including at least one creative subject. We're looking for between 104 and 120 UCAS Tariff points.

Entry Requirements

JCA welcomes applications from all educational profiles. Applicants interested in this course are encouraged to engage with the JCA community through an informal interview or a 'taster day' event.

Applicants with completed Level 3 qualifications

Applicants should have the equivalent of 32 UCAS points.

Mature applicants / non-academic route

Applicants with non-traditional profiles can still be considered, as aptitude may be demonstrated through other means — normally a minimum of 2 years' post-GCSE professional/work experience plus a meeting with an interviewing tutor. Applicants may be asked for: on-campus taster-day participation, an account of previous experience and goals, a genuine commitment to further study, and a rationale for progression in the sector.
